Why would you need one?
If you have a family and a not-so-big house, you would most probably face the same problems other families are facing – not enough storage space. Although you have used every single possible way to store and organize your things, there are still some things that you simply need to put away but could not find the place to put them. Well, maybe it is time for you to use storage beds.
Storage bed is like a normal bed, except that it has hollow space under the bed. This is due to the fact that the bed does not need to use a box spring or a foundation. This space allows for a drawer or similar storing option to be affixed underneath the bed. There are a few options on how to place the drawers, depending on the size of the bed. For single beds, usually two small drawers are put on one side of the bed. Larger beds have more options, such as two or four drawers on the side of the bed, or a large end drawer.
By using storage beds, you would be able to stash bed sheets, comforter and pillowcases in the drawers, making it easier to access them and reduce the need to store these items in your wardrobe. As for small children, storage beds in their rooms can be used to store their favorite toys and books to avoid cluttering their rooms. If you have any linens or extra towels that you rarely use, you can always store them away in the storage bed in your guest room.
Some storage beds also come with storage space on the headboard itself. You can use this space to put your favorite book, as it is accessible to you even when you are half-asleep. This can also be useful for putting your alarm clock so that you can turn it off in the morning without even opening your eyes!

Your kids might have different ideas on how they want their storage beds look like, and your spouse might also have different expectations.
